The Mollaoglu Lab is dedicated to unraveling tumor heterogeneity in order to advance more effective immunotherapies. Our research focuses on the complex interactions between cancer cells and immune cells that contribute to immune evasion and clonal selection. Using cutting-edge spatial and single-cell technologies, along with innovative mouse models, we aim to uncover the mechanisms behind tumor evolution shaped by the immune system. Ultimately, our goal is to gain deeper insights into the dynamic cellular ecosystem of tumors, paving the way for the development of groundbreaking cancer immunotherapies.
Our research is focused on the intersection of space (spatial biology) and time (tumor immune microenvironment). Learn more about our frontier cancer immunology research.
